As a very young child I experienced a profound send of being unloved. The adults around me were deeply wounded and severely lacking any ability to express love. Spirit reached out to me at 13 and showed me the truth of the power of love; that God is love, and there is NO lack of love – in spite of all evidence to the contrary. Love simply is; as is the air we breathe. Everything that exists is evidence of God's Love in action. Compassion is the ability to express and practice God's Love even when we cannot easily comprehend the love that is in a particular person or situation. It starts with ourselves.
